On board of the plane were more than 110 people
MADRID, July 24. Airlines Air Algerie plane crashed in Niger, Algerian TV reported. On board the ship were 116 people. According to preliminary data, 80 of them – the citizens of France.
Earlier it was reported that the airline Air Algerie have lost contact with one of its aircraft, which took off from the capital city of Burkina Faso, Ouagadougou, the capital of Algeria – Algiers. According to the airline, air surveillance service lost contact with the board within 50 minutes after taking off from Ouagadougou.
Spanish airline Swiftair, reported that all of the missing aircraft crew members – 2 pilots and 4 members of the wait staff – are citizens of Spain. Aircraft McDonnell Douglas MD-80 belonged to the company Swiftair, but its operator is Air Algerie.
