“I have talked about it with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping,” – said Nicolas Maduro

CARACAS, July 25. Naval forces will get new weapons from Russia and China. This statement was made on Thursday, by President Nicolas Maduro, referring to the sailors in the state of Zulia.

“I have talked about this with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping. Soon working commissions will go for the most modern weapons to strengthen the defense system of our country,” – said Maduro.

He urged the Venezuelan military to close ranks and strengthen discipline, and not to succumb to the machinations of USA imperialism. “No one officer should not support the imperial plans of dividing in our armed forces and to the Republic which the Comandante Hugo Chavez have re-established,” – said the president.

Maduro recently met with Putin in Brazil.

Xi Jinping have come with a state visit to Venezuela this week.
