The explosion took place near the hotel Betong Holiday Hill in downtown Betong

BANGKOK, July 25. Two people were killed today, about 40 injured in a car bomb explosion in southern Thailand Betong. As the electronic version of the newspaper Bangkok Post, attack occurred near the hotel Betong Holiday Hill (“Betong Holiday Hill”) in the city center at 17:30 local time (14:30 MSK).

According to media reports, the explosive device was in the car Toyota Vigo, parked on the street next to the hotel. PE area cordoned off  police have been  working at that place.
