According to investigators, arrested – two men and a woman  who have returned to France after a three-month stay in Syria.

PARIS, July 22. France detained a group of radicals associated with Islamists in Syria. This was reported by representatives of the local police.

July 22 , the operation was performed in the morning in the city of Albi (Tarn department in southern). It was carried out by the General Directorate of Internal Security, involving fighters units to combat terrorism.

According to investigators, arrested – two men and a woman – in April and May returned to France after a three-month stay in Syria. It is possible that one of the members of this group of French recruited volunteers to participate in the fighting on the side of anti-government forces.

The detainees are suspected, in particular, in the preparation of “violence in the city of Albi and is located not far from it important French industrial center – Toulouse”.
