Earlier, the “Rosneft” reported that in the Lisichansk refinery oil storage tank have been caughted with fire because of shelling. There was no victims affected by the oil spill at that time. Also destroyed two building of warehouses.

MOSCOW, July 18. Employees of Lisichansk refinery (owned by “Rosneft”) moved to the bombproof shelter due to the ongoing shelling, located in the Luhansk region of Ukraine.

“At this moment in the areas which are adjoined to the Lisichanskiy refinery, artillery shelling is producing. Refinery staff moved to the adjoin shelter,” – said the agency interlocutor.

From April, Authorities of Ukraine are carried out the military operation in the east of Ukraine against the residents of the region who were not satisfied with the February revolution. In Moscow, this special operation, which has already resulted in numerous casualties on both sides, including among the civilian population, called punitive and demanded Kiev to stop it immediately.

Ukrainian authorities in late November announced its intention to buy 50% stake in Lisichansk refinery that “Rosneft” got together with other Ukrainian assets of TNK-BP. However, “Rosneft” refused to sell the plant.
