TEHRAN, July 25. Throughout hole Iran are multimillion demonstrations in connection with the day of Jerusalem (Al-Quds) and in solidarity with the Palestinian struggle for their rights. As reported by IRNA, to the demonstrators, gathered at Tehran’s Ferdowsi Square, joined the president of the Islamic Republic Hassan Rouhani, who, with a column of demonstrators was going along the streets of the city.
He told the news agency that this year “the Iranians have expressed even greater support for the Palestinians, who are victims of Israeli shelling and bombing residential neighborhoods in Gaza.” Activity center in Tehran has moved from the streets of the city on the territory of Tehran University, which will host the traditional Friday prayers.
International Day of Al-Quds, is widely celebrated in the Islamic Republic on the last Friday of Ramadan, was established in 1979, leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ayatollah Khomeini after the transformation of the country in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
