KIEV, July 27. Ukrainian Defense Minister Valeriy Geletey confirmed information about crossing the state border of the Russian Federation with 41 servicemen of 51th mechanized brigade. He said on the TV channel “Inter”.

“Really, this fact took place,” – said the Minister.

According to him, Ukraine’s president ordered to make an investigation on this matter and “it is held.”

“The information is there, but not completely proven, inform the president in the near future and society, how it happened and how,” – said Geletey.

He noted that the assessment has repeatedly given some commanders who were not able to carry out combat missions.

Ukrainian military transition into the territory of Russia

The night before, there were reports that 41 Ukrainian soldier left his military units and turned to militias to assist them in the transition to the territory of Russia in connection with the fact that they do not want to fight against their own people.

All these military crossed into Russia through the Russian checkpoint “Donetsk”. As ITAR-TASS reported a source in law enforcement, they provide food and provided an opportunity to have a rest.

Later, the head of the press service of the FSB border of the Rostov region Vasily Malaev said that two Ukrainian border guard asked for Russian citizenship.
