The document provides for the preservation of Washington’s limited military contingent in Afghanistan after the withdrawal of the main territory of NATO forces at the end of the year 

ABU DHABI, 30 September. The signing ceremony of the agreement on security between Afghanistan and the United States took place on Tuesday at the presidential palace in Kabul. This was reported in the administration of the new president, Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai.

In late May, President Barack Obama announced the decision to proceed with the final withdrawal of American forces from Afghanistan. It is assumed that the number of troops the United States in the country to reduce the beginning of 2015 to 9800, then within a year has reduced by about half, and at the end of 2016 there will go past the soldiers and officers.
