Now the government asks the national parliament the right to conduct air strikes in Iraq
LONDON, September 26.British Military Air Force can in principle apply in the future strikes against the terrorist group Islamic State (IG) in Syria. Such a possibility is made Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Philip Hammond.
“We do not refuse any options to counter the Islamic State, including operations in Syria – Foreign Minister said in a live TV channel Sky News.
“However, while the government asks the national parliament the right to conduct air strikes in Iraq. If you need to defeat the orders of the Islamic state in Syria, the government will revert to the Parliament for consent,” – said Hammond.
