Donetsk, September 23. Militias of Donetsk People’s Republic of (DNR) began removal of military equipment according to Minsk memorandum. This was announced on Tuesday by  Defense Minister Vladimir Kononov DNR.

“We carry out the conditions of the contract and withdrawal of heavy artillery in contrast to the Ukrainian side,” – he said.

September 22, The representative of the Council of National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Andriy Lysenko reported that the security forces in the east of the country began to prepare for the withdrawal of heavy weapons in the 15-kilometer security zone.

Lysenko said here that “the preparation for the withdrawal of vehicles already means the process of moving to other regions.”

“Prepare areas for equipment. We can not leave it just in field. It should be ready for use at any time,” – said Lysenko. He also stressed that “the military remain on the ground.”

September 20, The contact group on Ukraine adopted on memorandum on the implementation of the ceasefire in Minsk. The document consists of nine items, which, in particular, include a ban on the use of all types of weapons, their removal from the line of contact 15 km on each side. Control over the implementation of the provisions of the memorandum is entrusted to the OSCE. The document was signed by the official representative of the OSCE in Ukraine Heidi Tagliavini, the ex-President Leonid Kuchma, the Russian ambassador to Kiev Zurabov, Prime Minister Alexander DNR Zaharchenko head Igor LC Carpenter.
