VIENNA, 22 September. Ukrainian nuclear power plants in a timely manner and in full, have been provided the Russian nuclear fuel, said today the head of “Rosatom” Sergey Kiriyenko during the 58th IAEA General Conference in Vienna.

“As before, the Ukrainian nuclear power plants in a timely manner ensures the delivery of Russian nuclear fuel. All obligations are carried out strictly and in full,” – said Kiriyenko.

The head of “Rosatom” emphasized that the safety and reliability of the operation of nuclear facilities, including built by the Russian projects abroad, are Russia’s “absolute priority”.

Kiriyenko said that nuclear energy – a strategic industry, which has a very long fuel cycles.

“It can not and should not depend on situational changes in the political situation,” – says the head of “Rosatom”.
