Italy will provide coalition against Islamists with instructors and tanker aircraft

“We get detailed information on the operation and carefully evaluate our next steps,” – said the Minister of Defense Robert Pinotti

ROME, September 23. Italy supports the international coalition against an extremist group  the Islamic State (IG) and provide for their needs of instructors and the tanker aircraft. This was stated by Minister of Defense Robert Pinotti.

“To combat the Islamic State, we have provided a tanker aircraft, and it is a very valuable contribution, as well as instructors. If our need additional help, we will look at the ability to meet these requests,” – said the head of the defense department.

She recalled that the Italian military are in the state of Florida, where the headquarters of the American operation in Iraq and Syria. “We get detailed information on the operation and carefully evaluate our next steps,” – said Pinotti.
