BISHKEK, September 30th. In the south-west of Jalal-Abad region of Kyrgyzstan law enforcement officers have defused women’s group Hizb ut-Tahrir . This religious extremist party is banned in the country. About this have reported the press service of the Interior Ministry.
Underground cell of extremists has been identified as a result of intelligence operations against terrorism and religious extremism in the region. “In the course of the activities identified seven active members of the women’s wing Hizb ut-Tahrir, actively conducting recruiting activities in the region, – the press-service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. – Operatives exposed activities of several extremist groups, seized a large number of extremist materials”. All those detained by police women were women-residents Nooken district, Jalal-Abad region in age 20-25 years. “They were active in extremist activities, – assured the press service. – Seized their data show that while they regularly use Internet resources”.
