Country joined the coalition forces fighting with the Islamic State in Iraq
COPENHAGEN, September 26. Denmark has decided to send to Iraq seven F-16s to fight the militants of the Islamic state (IG). This was announced on Friday, Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt.
Denmark joined the coalition, fought with Islamic state units in Iraq.
According to Thorning-Schmidt, her office secured the support of the parliamentary majority on the question of sending four warplanes for direct participation in the operation and three backup machines, together with the staff. Only about 250 people.
The Prime Minister also said that the Parliament on this issue will vote, the date of which is not yet known.
