PRAGUE, October 20. Czech military contingent will remain in Afghanistan until the end of 2016. This decision was taken on October 20 by the government of the republic, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Under NATO command in Afghanistan will be unit consisting of 310 Czech soldiers and officers, 20 more soldiers will continue to guard the Czech Embassy. In addition to this group of 20 military will work with Afghan allies to fight the spread and production of drugs.
