There is starting a teaching of 12 countries - NATO partners in Turkey

The event aims “to develop the capacity of joint activities on the basis of common standards”

ANKARA, October 20. Members of the armed forces of 12 countries – NATO partners gathered in Istanbul on regional planning exercises under the auspices of the alliance REGEX-14.

They do not involve maneuvers of military equipment, and aim to develop opportunities for joint activities on the basis of common standards for partnership.

According to the Turkish General Staff, the event was attended by 84 Turkish soldiers and 48 delegates from the armed forces of Azerbaijan, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Moldova, Jordan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Mauritania, Algeria and Pakistan.

From NATO military support for the workshop has joint command of the alliance in Naples.

The event will last until October 24 and will be held at the Center of military strategy and culture in Istanbul Ataturk. Participants explore the options for joint action at the regional level. The main focus of the exercise is on effective adaptation to existing troops differences between the partner countries and to the tactical and strategic NATO standards.
