Drones, performing missions, will not carry weapons for attacking targets in Syria
LONDON, Oct. 21. UK soon begin using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to gather intelligence about militants of the terrorist group Islamic State in Syria, the Minister of Defence of the United Kingdom Michael Fallon deputies of the national parliament in London.
According to him, the drones will be flown over Syria in accordance “with the efforts of national security and in connection with the terrorist threat emanating from there.”
As explained, the Defense Minister, drones will not carry weapons for attacking targets in Syria. For this, as Fallon said, needed “additional solutions.”
Earlier, London, according to media reports, announced its intention to use drones in Iraq, but on the Syrian track, nothing was said.
