MILAN, 17 October. EU leaders noted the positive developments in resolving the crisis in Ukraine. This was announced on Friday the European Council President Herman Van Rompuy on the basis of a working breakfast at the summit of the Forum on “Asia-Europe” (ASEM) in Milan.

“We are happy to see the positive development of the process – said Van Rompuy. – We have come to the conclusion that the Minsk protocol on ceasefire and the peace plan is extremely important, and it should be implemented. This ensures the future for Ukraine. Hence the word” implementation “- is the key here.”
