BRUSSELS, October 27.The European Union is seriously concerned at the escalation of violence in Lebanon. This was stated on Monday EU foreign policy service.

“The EU strongly condemns the lengthy attacks by extremist groups, the security forces of Lebanon and calls for the Lebanese authorities on security efforts to combat this threat. The escalation of violence is a serious concern, and the EU is closely monitoring the situation,” – noted there.
