“Islamic State” have posted decimation`s record of American journalist

The terrorists claimed that the life of another correspondent, who disappeared in Libya in 2013, depends on Obama`s next step; the authenticity of the video has not been confirmed

LONDON, August 20th. Grouping “Islamic State” (IG), acting on the territory of Iraq and Syria, circulated a video which contain the record of execution on American journalist James Foley, but the authenticity of the video has not been confirmed. Journalist had disappeared in northwest Syria November 22, 2012.

Video have been titled “A Message to America” and was posted in internet on Tuesday, August 19th in the evening.

At the same time on the video is an American journalist Stephen Time Sotloff who disappeared in August 2013 in Libya.

“Life of an American citizen, Obama, depends on your next decision,” – said in a statement militants IG.

Confirm that the video really sealed Foley and Sotloff unavailable.

American intelligence will check the authenticity of the video

United States intelligence agencies will check the authenticity of the video, said Tuesday the official representative of the National Security Council at the White House Caitlin Hayden.

“We have seen a record, which allegedly shows the murder of an” Islamic state “citizen of the United States by James Foley. Intelligence community is working on in order to determine its authenticity as soon as possible”, – said Hayden.

“If the [record] is genuine, we are shocked by the brutal murder of an innocent American journalist and extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends,” – she said. Hayden has promised to provide more information as soon as it becomes available.

According to White House spokesman Eric Schultz, Obama has received information about the video from his deputy national security aide Ben Rhodes. “He will continue to receive regular updates on this issue,” – said Schultz.
