BERLIN, Aug. 18. The supply of military equipment from Germany to northern Iraq will begin next week. This was reported by the official representative of the Ministry of Defence of Germany Jens Flosdorff.


However, he pointed out that “a weapon in the number of these supplies is not included.”


It is sending to Iraq for the Kurdish armed forces trucks, body armor, helmets and night-vision equipment from the Bundeswehr inventory, said the representative of the Ministry of Defence of Germany.


In addition, according to him, military transport aircraft will be delivered to the Iraqi city of Arbil 75 tons of food and 25 tons of medical and other humanitarian supplies.


First 36000 tons of humanitarian aid from Germany were brought into northern Iraq over the weekend.
