KIEV, August 22. Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry called “another blatant violation of the core principles of international law,” Russia’s decision to start moving humanitarian convoys through the Ukrainian border. However, the ministry announced that “in order to prevent provocations were given all the necessary requirements for the safe passage of the convoy.”

Movement of the Russian humanitarian convoys through the territory of Ukraine “comes without support and participation of the International Committee of the Red Cross and in violation of previous agreements regarding the inspection and registration of Russian humanitarian aid”, in turn, said at a briefing representative information-analytical center of the National Security and Defense Andriy Lysenko.

“Responsibility for the security of the Russian column, which moves through the territory of Ukraine, which is temporarily controlled by Ukrainian forces are the sole responsibility of the Russian Federation”, – he said.

Lysenko said that Kiev previously performed “all of its obligations with respect to readiness and execution of Russian humanitarian aid in full cooperation with the ICRC.”

According to him, currently Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry is preparing a “single allegation of a violation of the agreements reached” between Moscow and Kiev.
