BEIRUT, 27 August. Israeli artillery opened fire on  Syrian post near the town of Quneitra in the line of separation of forces in the occupied Golan Heights. As a television channel “Al-Manar”, the firing was made ​​after the explosion of two mortar shells at the rows of barbed wire. As a result, injured one Israeli officer.

The situation in the demilitarized zone much more escalated after the attack formations of extremist groups “Dzhebhat en-Nusra” and “Ahfad al-Rasul” for the posts of Syrian troops from PPC “Quneitra”. According to incoming reports, they were able to capture this border crossing in the Golan.
