In Kiev, there was no “special expectations from the negotiations with the Russian Federation, but this way you still need to go through,” – said the head of the Ukrainian government

KIEV, August 27. Negotiations held between the presidents of Ukraine and Russia in Minsk on August 26 were inconclusive, said on 27 August at a session of the Ukrainian government its head Yatsenyuk. At the same time, he noted that in Kiev there was no “special expectations from the negotiations with the Russian Federation, but this way we still need to go through.”

“For us, there are three major challenges: the war, the exchange rate and energy”, – said the prime minister, adding that to solve the first of them “can be only one way to regain control over the border with Russia” under the supervision of the OSCE.
