MOSCOW, August 20. Russia has offered to convene in Moscow conference on the situation in Syria. This was announced at a press conference, a representative of the Council of the Syrian tribes Abbas Habib.

“Yesterday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov proposed to convene a preliminary conference, a consultative meeting in Russia , and  then moved to Damascus, and there would be involved and tribal sheikhs, – he said. – Task Forum – the unification of all forces in our society.”

“We agreed with this idea,” – said Habib.

According to the representative of the Council, a preliminary meeting may be held in Moscow and then in Syria in an expanded format.

Abbas Habib noted that the Council of the Syrian tribes created in order to represent all Syrians. “Our goal is to collect all the parties at the negotiating table,” – he added.
