Donetsk / Rostov region /, August 19. Group of OSCE observers recorded no cases of crossing the Russian-Ukrainian border. This was confirmed at a press briefing the head of the OSCE mission in the Rostov region, Paul Picard.

“Several times we noticed how along the border flying military helicopters, but this movement is recorded only along the border. Border crossings we have not seen,” – said Picard.


Also, according to the head of the OSCE mission, observers often hear the noise and shots on the territory of Ukraine, adjacent to the border with Russia.


Group of OSCE observers arrived in the Rostov region on July 29. Currently it consists of 19 people. It is planned that a group of observers will stay in the border area until October.


“No Russian military convoy that allegedly crossed the Russian-Ukrainian border, at night or day – does not exist … And it would be better  if the Ukrainian artillery destroyed the phantom, and not refugees or their own troops.“ – Igor Konashenkov
